The role of School Counselors |
We align with the school's mission and vision statements. School counselors provide additional support to students, teachers, & parents. Students may be referred by an administrator, a teacher, a parent/guardian, or themselves. We strive to prepare all students for the challenges that they will face in the ever changing 21st century.
Middle school is an opportunity for students to flourish and discover new interests. This time becomes challenging, but also exciting. Students transition from childhood to adolescence during these years and will face many challenges in a diverse world. School counselors assist by leading, directing, and advising with the goal of students achieving success. |
